To determine the height of your cervix with 100% certainty you need to perform the following:
-
Wash your hands with an unscented soap
-
Dry your hands thoroughly, and open your flower up.
-
Insert one finger into your vagina until you feel your cervix.
Your cervix should feel like the tip of your nose or a ball with a dent in the middle. Depending on how deeply you can insert your finger before feeling the cervix, you will be able to determine which size cup is best for you. Check the size chart below to determine your cup size.
-
If you have a high cervix, meaning you can insert your finger to the second phalanx before feeling the cervix, it will likely be best to go with an L size cup.
-
If you inserted a finder till the middle (second finger phalanx) and started to feel the cervix plus had a vaginal birth, you might go with M.
-
If you inserted a finder till the middle and started to feel the cervix and never gave a vaginal birth, you might go with S.
-
If you have a low cervix, which means you can feel your cervix almost immediately upon insertion of your finger, then an S size cup would be more suitable.
